What does membership cover?

The majority of your membership fees cover YOUR affiliation to Hockey Wales. We have to pay extra to affiliate coaches and umpires and we have to spread this cost across the membership along with the cost that will cover things like league, team and club affiliations. Membership and the small shortfall in income from match fees are also used to try to cover the cost of pitch hire and other costs.

Is there a family discount?

Yes! We love that we have so many families playing and want to ensure it is accessible. Discounts are as follows; 
2 family members - 10%
3 family members - 20%
4 family members - 25%

Hardship Fund?

We want everyone to have the opportunity to play hockey, that is why we have an Access to Hockey Fund in place for members who may need a little extra support to be able to play. This could cover equipment, membership or matches depending on your circumstances. Please talk to a committee member for more information regarding eligibility and how to apply.

How much is pitch hire?

It costs us £100 per match and £200 per training night. Over the course of a standard season this amounts to £10,040.

Can I pay weekly?

You can pay weekly on Teamo, but we will pass on the transaction fee.
Seniors - £4 per training session 
Juniors - £3 per training session

More than one game?

If you play a second match on a weekend to support club development you will not be charged, e.g if you play for the 2nds on a Saturday and 3rds on a Sunday, you will only pay for the £5 (adult)/£3 (U18), but if it is 2 competitive matches, a match fee will be required for each game.
